Each Math Vocabulary section contains words and definitions we are using in the classroom throughout the year.


The Spiral Review contains questions that cover all the major objectives taught to this point in our math class. Students should be able to complete each question confidently. I will continue to add questions as new material is covered in class. This is an excellent source if a student is needing extra practice.


For some counting numbers, even large ones, it is possible to test for divisibility without dividing, but rather use your divisibility rules. These rules can help you to find common factors and will be especially useful when we start fractions.

Practice identifying your shapes with the Identify the Polygon page. Students should be able to identify these shapes both by the picture and the definition.

Teachers Tools is a list of sites, lessons, and resources from the World Wide Web for parents and students looking for help with the 5th grade math curriculum.


TAKS Workbook is a study guide provided by the state to help students review and practice all six objectives tested in April.
